Very nice ambience and good food.

Very nice hotel and restaurant with traditional home cooking. Friendly and helpful staff is at home here. The hotel is cozy and you feel at home .. Just nice to relax.

Unfortunately not that great. On the 1st evening "candle-light-diner". The entire main course was made from frozen products and not very well presented. According to the offer, it was supposed to be "the best available room" in the house ... It became the corner room with a bathroom a good 120 cm wide, in which every action was an artistic challenge. In addition, there was not a single hook to hang pajamas or bathrobe. The food got better over time. Unfortunately, the breakfast times were only 'approximate'. On the day of departure, the door was still locked at 7:20 am, although I was told 7:00 am. So I left without breakfast ... And as a good example of lack of empathy, the title "family" was written on my bill as a single traveler.

Well + cute cat + friendly service + delicious food + inexpensive + fast operation Suggestions for improvement: - lack of information about the content in the food (stupid for allergy sufferers or vegetarians ...)

Quiet location very suitable for relaxation and recreation

Located in the middle of the forest and quiet. Still easy to reach. Good German cuisine served with good craftsmanship. You can also rent rooms here and relax wonderfully from everyday life.

Although we were only guests in the hotel for three days, we really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and attentive staff, a very nice room with a balcony and the excellent cuisine are fondly remembered. All the best for the certainly not easy time after or with Corona.

Mediocre food, with slightly overpriced prices for the Ore Mountains with existing quality. The portions are very large. The service is very hard, but has a very special sense of humor, which some guests come across as cheeky. Absolute courtesy is the key to good service. The dining room is neatly and neatly decorated, but there was never a feeling that you were on your own and that you could have a few important conversations.

Very good cuisine, friendly staff and the cook likes to try something new. If the weather is nice, you can also go to the beer garden.

Nice restaurant with good food. There is also a separate children's menu, which can even be colored by the crayons that are included. Very friendly staff. The dishes themselves are tasty and well portioned with a nice sideboard. However, we have to subtract one star here, since the three dishes ordered (an order of three main courses) were not served at the same time. The third dish came 5 to 6 minutes later and that's not possible. In family, you would like to dine together. There is still potential here ...

We were guests from December 30th, 2019 - January 4th, 2020 in the Hotel Waldmühle. We were greeted very warmly on arrival. All of the staff were very courteous and friendly. The food was exceptionally tasty and above all very sufficient. Even extra requests were fulfilled. We would like to thank everyone for the great hospitality. Since we liked it so much, we will spend the days of Sylvester in the Waldmühle this year (already booked). Thanks again, thank you, thank you!

After visiting the spa spontaneously held a meal and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly and courteous staff, value for money we found very good. The steak was to the point as desired. Lamb also very tasty. Generous portions, we would stop again. For the fifth star, I would still miss the "certain something", that's just the subjective ratings. It is definitely to be recommended.

Nice beer garden, delicious food and friendly service. Made a stop here on a bike tour. The beer garden is sheltered, shady and invites you to take a break. Food was delicious, price-performance ratio was right. I found the portion size very comfortable, not too little and not too much. Only the drink prices were, in my opinion, inappropriately high, EUR 3.75 for a non-alcoholic wheat beer ... well.

Where do I start? Location top ✔ (at least in light); at night / on foot rather nothing; Arrival by car is compulsory! Room (✔) okay, no high-quality furniture, but a great new bathroom. Staff (✔) always friendly and helpful, whether it is a description of the route or a request for a pillow. Free use of the thermal baths ✔, which should only be traveled by car in the dark. (800m) on foot. However, there are still a few shortcomings. Cell phone reception and mobile data are really bad ❌ As above the accessibility ❌ Shops a little further away. Shopping also rather bad ❌ Conclusion: You can cope with the few shortcomings with a car and the existing WiFi. Overall a good hotel
